Jounction

JONCTION

About the District

Jonction district takes its name from its location at the confluence of the Arve and the Rhône rivers, near Geneva’s city centre. Jonction is one of these incredibly happily situated areas that benefit from stunning natural landscapes. In addition to being a very green space with its wood (Bois de la Bâtie), both rivers’ different-coloured waters merge there which create a beautiful and unique natural spectacle that people can observe from the bridge or from one of our apartments’ balcony. Culture plays an important part in the district life: there are several museums, galleries, and cultural spaces; it is also where RTS (Swiss Radio and Television) and newspaper La Tribune de Genève headquarters are and several Geneva university buildings are in the area. It is also a sought-after district for businesses and professionals due to its proximity of Cargill, Ernest & Young, IBM and Procter & Gamble (P&G) offices. Jonction is also right next to Geneva’s city centre and so is very well connected, either by walking or by tram and bus. It is then no wonder this district is popular among nature-loving city dwellers who are very keen to book time and time again our Jonction apartments.
